One of my introductions to complex page design involved creating a booklet of my choice. My choice was Western Victoria, having family there and finding the place a beautiful holiday location. I started off with a basic three column grid, evolving its structure over time and creating graphics that matched the content. For the front and back covers, I wanted to give the feeling of a travel scrapbook. I feel this style is effective as it makes the journey feel more personal and fun at the same time. The images themselves are from my own collection, having taken them on my DSLR camera.
